How fun!! Did you go to one of those diamond mine type places or was it found "out in the wild"? What liquid is the gold sitting in?

He found it in the Upper Pennisula on the beach. The beach was loaded with black sand and when you see black sand you usually see gold. He said this is placer gold meaning the glaciers moved it there. I sat on beach in a chair and read while he and Garven filled up buckets of sand, which we brought home and they panned it in our garage. The people we were with found a 'picker' meaning you can pick it up with your fingers.
The liquid is water.
